This week I am going to post a few things about the Small Acts of citizenry
Hope you all can make a difference too!!

Volunteer

Students can volunteer to help out at orphanages during weekends. They can offer to clean, cook or play with the children at the orphanages.

Study groups

Students can form mass study groups. Like for instance students in the same stream can meet up every weekend or they can decide to meet up on a specific day every week and they can help each other out with work they do not understand. Because they are all individuals there will be some work that some individuals do not understand and other individuals will understand so with that they will be able to help each other. If you’re a second year or a third year student you can also form a study group for first year students that struggle with work and you can meet those students every weekend in a group and help them out.

Community Service

Every month students can participate in community service. For instance, they can go to different places every month and pick up papers, bottles, etc. Students can also participate in community service in university by perhaps planting trees inside the university because the more trees you plant you are saving the earth.

Donations

Staff members and students can make donations during a specific time of the year. They can donate old clothes, canned food, shoes, blankets etc to the people in need or to orphanages. Students can also have a donation made for young girls that do not have enough money to buy pads every month. So what students can do is that they can ask for money donations to buy the pads for the young girls or people can donate sanitary pads and once there are enough sanitary pads the students can donate them to different orphanages or just young girls in the rural areas.
