My first love

The first love my of life. 

It’s a new week👯👯. New week means new opportunities! 

I know I know I have not been consistent but work has been hectic in January. But I promise to be better 

But we are in a new month ,February ,the month of “love “ haha. 

I pray that this month is a month of joy and celebration for you. 

Okay let’s get started shall we ? Since we are in a month of love, I’m going to speak about MY FIRST LOVE

Which is NETBALL!!!💗

I started playing netball when I was 7 years old and I played all the way till I was 17 years old. Then after that I decided to take a break for 4 years and I returned back at 22 years old. During those 4 years I actually wanted to play again but I was struggling to find a team that plays very well. I am a passionate player, and I’m serious about my talent. So I won’t just settle to play in any team. 

And I found a good team at 22 in Malaysia. Hah! Who would have thought that I would find my perfect team in a different country from my home country ?

Why netball? Why not hockey or basketball?

I don’t know why , I just fell inlove with this sport when I got introduced to it in primary school. 

I’ve received best player awards as well as played for the big leagues in my country. 

When I play I forget about everything , all I’m focused on is the game. It just one of things that keeps me sane. To be honest I’m seriously an emotional player, I put my ALL in it , I put my heart in it. It’s like a relationship that you work hard for. 

My favourite position to play is wing attack (WA) Why ? Because I mostly get the ball. And I play almost everywhere in the court, which I love .  But I can play all positions, I had to learn to play all. I remember in high school my coach used to say to us “ to be a great player you need to be able to play all positions because we know that we can always rely on you and you will always have more chances than others to play “ 

And because of that I learned to defend and to attack as well as to shoot. 

My least favorite position to play is goal keeper (GK)!!! It is the worst , especially for a person like me who likes to  run around. GK you just hardly get the ball, your job is to defend. And GK’s are usually very tall girls and I’m not tall at all, I have an average height. So you see it’s not meant for me 

Just to quickly explain the number on the back of my top. Number 2 is my favorite number because it’s my birthday date 👯👯I was born on the 02nd of March.
