Roasted Turkey/chicken Sunday lunch

Good evening every one 😬

So today I cooked one of my favorite dishes 😬which is roasted turkey, rice and tomato sauce .

So let's gets started with the ingredients 😬

First we will start with the toasted Turkey
1.  1.176 Kg for R45.39 at Flesherie full turkey / full chicken
2.chooped /diced onions
3. Diced potatoes
4. Diced tomatoes
5. Grated carrots
6. Robinson chicken spice and black pepper

So firstly you are going to wash your chicken so that's it's clean ,inside and out then you are going to cut your tomatoes, carrots, onions and potatoes and then stuff your cut Ingredients inside the chicken/turkey then your going to add the chicken spice inside so you will mix the inside so that everything is mixed together. Next you will sprinkle the chicken spice and the back pepper all over the chicken so that the chicken does not become dry and it's very tasty when it comes out 😬. Next preheat your oven at 270 degrees then after your done preparing your chicken you put your chicken in a pan then leave it in the oven for about an hour all depending on the stove you use.

Secondly we will start with our rice
1.i was cooking for 3 people so I used half a cup of rice ,if your cooking for 3-5 people you can use a full cup of rice
2.boiled water

So first you need to boil water in the kettle then put the pot on the stove at medium heat then our the boiled water then wait for the water to also start boiling on the stove then you add in your rice then you will just keep stirring here and there. You will let your rice cook for about 25-30 minutes then your rice is ready

Lastly is out tomato sauce (my favorite )
You will need the following
1. Two grated tomatoes
2.a tablespoon of garlic
3. A spoon of dried tomato pesto
4. Tomato sauce
5. Thyme
6. Chili sauce

So what we first do is we put a non stick fry pan on the stove then you pour your grated tomatoes in the pan then stir here and there then next you add the garlic, tomato sauce, a spoon of chilli sauce then stir them continuously. If you can see that the suave is getting  dry you can add a little bit of water here and there and just keep stirring. Then lastly you will add your thyme then reduce your heat and just keep stirring . You will start to see when your sauce is getting ready . Then let it simmer for a few little minites then ta daaaaa!!!

Lastly just take your turkey/chicken out if the stove if it's ready
Your dinner is served πŸ˜¬πŸ’ƒπŸΎ
